Lolly’s
Located in a municipal market in Piacenza, Italy, Lolly’s Pizza and Focaccioni’s project created an unexpected dialog between a vibrant contemporary structure and a 1970’s bakery counter. This vintage element, gained a second life, brought charisma into the project and structured the space, splitting the customer’s area from the preparation space in the back, a steel and plywood division.
A big round window allows the public to watch the dough being made in the kitchen, and the walls are transformed into display elements filled with products for sale and old school objects, bringing the memories of old times pizzerias and bakeries back. The project seeks to translate into the space the ancient street food concept: being accessible to all, unpretentious and quick.
