Somm Wine
Mezzo Atelier has been commissioned by Somm Wine to create an outdoor space to complement their wine bar in the city center of Cremona, in Northern Italy.
A modular and flexible structure, with integrated furniture, was the office’s answer to the briefing. Although the set is arranged according to a specific space configuration, it has the potencial to acquire several layouts, depending on the wine bar’s needs over time.
Its limit were defined by a U shaped high back bench, open towards the bar and enclosed to the street side. Along its perimeter, flower pots and a high support create a dynamic relation between the terrace and the urban space.
The whole set and furniture was built using larch wood and tubular steel.
