VV APARTMENT
Mezzo Atelier was commissioned the project to create bespoke furniture for an apartment in Milan.
At VV Apartment, a wall by the dining area was filled with a sideboard and bookcase unit to store part of the 40 meters of books the clients owns. On the opposite side of the living room sits the home office, which consists in one long desk with a closed cabinet and drawer, and two hanging volumes with open and closed compartments for storage.
For the piece’s bases Mezzo Atelier has carbonized plywood to create a dark contrast with the space’s colourful atmosphere. The structures is steel where also accompanied by natural plywood and linoleum.
